Stefan Eichwalder

Associate Board Member

Stefan Eichwalder is director of the health systems division at the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection in Austria. Mr. Eichwalder is member of various working groups on the National, European and International level and Vice-Chair of the Steering Committee of the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies.

Before joining the ministry in 2012 he was working as a researcher in the field of health economicsand in the statistics and research branch of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. His expertise is in health economics and health policy which he combines with the experience from his academic work.
